Mr. William Mehr has concentrated his practice for 40 years in the areas of Land Use and Real Estate, including purchase and sale transactions, financing, and leasing.  Mr. Mehr has significant experience representing local and national developers, sellers and purchasers in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, and excels in complicated transactions.  Mr. Mehr’s intimate knowledge of local politics and local preferences makes him a valuable liaison between developers and developing communities in Western Monmouth County. Mr. William Mehr’s ability to bring together project professionals, municipal officials, and technical consultants has contributed to a high success rate in obtaining modifications to zoning ordinances and shepherding development projects from concept through approvals and construction.

Mr. William Mehr has served as the Attorney for the Manasquan River Regional Sewerage Authority for 17 years. He is a Member of the New Jersey and Monmouth County Bar Associations.  Noteworthy past and present community involvement includes Chairman of the Interlaken Borough Planning Board, Past Chairman and Director of Downtown Freehold Special Improvement District, Past President and Director of the Freehold Exchange Club, and Past Member of CentraState Medical Center Board of Trustees.  He has received many awards for his contributions of time and effort from local charities and civic groups.

Mr. William Mehr is a 1962 cum laude graduate of Princeton University, earning a B.A. in Economics.  He is a 1970 graduate of Seton Hall School of Law, was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1970, and after a distinguished 41 years in practice remains active in his selected areas of legal practice.

Mr. William Mehr has been a Martindale Hubbell A-rated attorney for over 30 years, as rated by his peers, and he currently has the distinction of an AV Preeminent Rating, which is the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.
